Great American Cleanup
Description: Create and coordinate a team or be part of a team
to engage in litter prevention, beautification and waste reduction
efforts in your community. Volunteers for the Great American Cleanup
work to improve the quality of life in their local communities
through projects such as neighborhood cleanups, litter cleanups,
tree/flower planting, road cleanup, painting projects, and more.
We can provide supplies.
Special Skills: Ability to coordinate, conduct and/or participate
in cleanup efforts.
Appropriate for: Individuals, groups, families
Frequency: One time annually. Projects take place through May
2005.
Minimum age: 12 (with adult supervision)
Location: Various locations throughout the Kansas City metro area.
